but is that discount real or fake?
Well this what I wanted to share ...
You see a commodity on the front of the store, and you are tempted by its low price tag after writing off the original price, and then surprised that your friend bought it a while ago and before the discounts, at the same price you bought it at!

In 2013, the California District Court ruled that consumers may suffer material harm if they are led to believe that a particular commodity is being "discount" restriction. The ruling in a consumer case against United States retail giant Kohl's asserted that it is unwise to lead consumers into reducing the price of products when they are sold at an ordinarily discounted price.
Some sellers offer a high-priced label, but lower these prices on the label to revert to "normal" prices, called "sales ".
Some use this trick either to deceive the buyer to lower the price of the item and sell more of it, or to make the buyer realize that the price of the item "may" rise in the future, and this will cause the buyer to acquire it before its price rises, or at least to become psychologically prepared for any subsequent rise caused by the seller's uncertainty about future price expectations.
During my experience with online shopping i used to see some buyers following this trick, and in fact when i look to this at first time, it was smoothly, actually most of the people who look to items after discounts they will make decision to have this item ASAP.
I found many of this trick at online shops such as " Lazada, Shopee " which they are Malaysian shops, or at international shops such as " Amazon " which also had fake discounts
In the other side, those shops also had many real discount and the price will be too Cheap during the discount day, and that's can be found in some event: 11-11, Black Friday, or at some public holiday sometimes.
How can we protect our selves from this fake discount?
well that's can be if we doing some research or asking for the price at other places.
or we can think twice before we bought.
